Seniors exhibited their art creations.

A highly anticipated event, the Senior Art Show "The Looking Glass" opened it's doors on March 21st. The exhibit showcases artworks created since September 2021 by seniors from the combined IB art and Advanced Art II courses.

2023 Carnival Parade

CAISL's theater boiled with excitement as elementary students got ready fir their Carnival parade. All of the students from EC3/4 through Grade 5 participated by dressing up in Carnival costumes, and parading (and dancing!) across the stage to the beat of drums played by the Adult Percussion Group.

The Middle School News team had the opportunity to interview two distinguished guests from the world of music: José Bruto da Costa, a Conductor with the Gulkenkian Choir, and Matthew Habib, an American Opera star who pursued his dream all the way to Germany, one of the opera capitals of the world.

Santa visited the preschoolers

Our EC3/4 and Kindergarten students received a very special visit in their classrooms. Among excited giggling and loud calls for Santa, he and his inseparable Elf helper entered each classroom.

Choir, Orchestra and Hand Bell Choir played together at the concert Songs by Candlelight

The evening of Sunday, December 11th, marked a premier for CAISL. That night, our High School Choir, Advanced Orchestra and Adult Percussion Group gathered at the St. Paul's Cathedral in Lisbon for a very special concert: Songs by Candlelight.

CAISL's former director, Ms. Blannie Curtis, unveiled the new theater name in her honor

On November 29th, CAISL's community gathered in the Theater to celebrate its importance in our school lives, and to name it honoring CAISL's former director, Ms. Blannie Curtis, who dedicated 25 years into building our school.

CAISL held the 28th Annual Iberian Model United Nations conference. Over three days, students from all over the world came together to debate current issues.
