How to Apply

To apply for a position, please fill out the appropriate application for a teaching position or application for a business position. Please then email to your cover letter, resume, references, and the completed application form.  Be sure to put in the subject line the job for which you are applying.

For professional positions, we require a university degree equivalent to an American Bachelor's or higher, certification, and a minimum of two years of experience. 

As potential openings become known, they will be posted on this site.  Please check back frequently.

CAISL is also accepting letters of interest and resumes from those living in Lisbon who are interested in short-term and/or long-term substitute teaching.

Current Job Openings-Business/Non-Teaching Staff

CAISL seeks an individual for a full-time 4 to 5 month project doing updates to and entry of information to a database.  The individual must be conversant in both with both Portuguese and English.  This project is scheduled to be January to April 2019 but the exact dates are flexible.

Current Job Openings-Teaching

CAISL is always accepting applications from individuals locally based who wish to substitute teach. 

For the 18/19 school year, CAISL anticipates no vacancies.

For the 19/20 school year, CAISL wishes to receive applications for the following positions:

Secondary Art Teacher with emphasis on computer art (graphic design) and movie making/film editing. 

Other possible vacancies will be posted as they develop.  Vacancies are also posted on Search Associates and on TIEOnline.
