The sun shone brighter when reflected on the multiple first place medals and cups won by the CAISL's Track and Field Team. For the very first time, our team won the overall track meet, scoring a total of 623 points.
The Girls teams got the D3 and Varsity cups, and first place medals won by Isabella (1500m and 400m), Chanelle (800m), and Ema (100m, 200m), with the Varsity Girls also winning the 4x100m relay and 4x400m relay. D4 Girls also won the 4x400m relay and had individual medalists: Helena (1500m, 800m and Long Jump) and Sara (shotput). In the D5 Girls team, Berta stood out winning the 400m and shotput events.
The Varsity Boys also did a great job, winning the 4x100m relay and 4x400m relay, and with individual awards to Gerard (1500m), Francisco (400m), Adriel (200m), Elijah (100m, shotput and long jump). D3 Boys got first place for 4x400m relay, and João (1500m and 800m) and Manuel (400m and high jump) also got first places. D4 Boys won the 4x400m relay, with Newton (400m) and João (100m) also receiving first place medals.
