This year's Junior Model United Nations was a grand success. We had over 250 students participating from OIS, DSL, Saint Antonio, St. Julian's and St. Dominic's. There were 10 different rooms and 9 different agenda issues which resulted in 18 resolutions being successfully passed with majority vote. It was so amazing to see young minds working together on multilateral peace talks and work for a consensus.
The JMUN participants were very lucky to receive a keynote speech from Miss Herro Mustafa, Deputy Chief of Mission, a diplomat who has done extensive work in the Middle East, South and Central Asia, and many more parts of the globe. Her inspiring and motivational words was a breath of fresh air and helped us push through the day with immense productivity.
