CAISL participated for the first time at the "ROBOMED" Robotics Tournament, a yearly event organized by MAIS (Mediterranean Association of International Schools), hosted this year in Rome on the 22nd and 23rd of March. Six other international schools from the MAIS region participated as well.
The "CAISL Techno Wolves" team was made of ten students from the Middle School Exploratory Robotics class, who also took the "Robotics" after-school club, and took on the challenge to program and build robots to perform tasks that included speed drag, tug-of-wars and power trailer pull. Although CAISL students were participating for the first time, they did very well, and brought home a lot of experience to be put to use for the next competitions.
In addition to the tournament, students were also able to visit many iconic monuments such as the Colosseum, the Roman Forum, the Trevi Fountain and the Pantheon.
