Starting on Monday, 22nd October, and through Tuesday 30th October, students and staff celebrated CAISL Colors. This was a whole school initiative, designed to raise student awareness of our Hidden Curriculum. Students were invited to come to school each day wearing at least one item of clothing in the following colors, each of which represents a different behavioral expectation:
Monday 22 October - RED - Be respectful, welcoming, and well-mannered to everyone
Tuesday 23 October - WHITE - Tell the truth and take responsibility for our actions and inactions
Wednesday 24 October -- BLUE - Leave the space we use BETTER than we found it
Thursday 25 October - YELLOW - Return what we borrow in good condition
Friday 26 October - GREEN - Use resources mindfully
Monday 29 October - ORANGE - Be on time, present, and prepared
Tuesday 30 October - PURPLE - Give thoughtful consideration to the opinions of others
We were very impressed and grateful with the way that our students (and parents) have embraced and celebrated our "CAISL Colors" through the week.
