The morning of Halloween day started with excitement all over elementary school, with students looking forward to an afternoon of costume parading and candy filled parties. This day was especially spooky for our 3rd, 4th and 5th graders, who were invited to visit the haunted house, organized by the National Honor Society high school students. This year, all proceeds from the haunted house were donated to Acreditar and, despite the nervous giggles, elementary students were certainly glad to participate.
In the afternoon, children changed into their Halloween costumes and took the stage for the parades, presenting the parents with Halloween songs, dances and poems, and including a surprise sing-a-long about monsters, as well as dancing skeletons.
The day ended with classrooms celebrations for students and parents, sharing a sweet Halloween snack.
