Last Wednesday, June 20th, Early Childhood and Kindergarten parents were invited to the Informances, a musical treat that showcases these young children's musical growth.
EC3 and 4 performed in the morning and showed their beautiful singing voices and explores different sounds with drums and movements with their parents. They also impressed the adults in the room by singing the French children's classic Frère Jacques in its original language.
In the afternoon, it was Kindergarten's turn to show parents their amazing progress is music. Besides well-choreographed songs, Kindergarteners demonstrated how they can know read basic notation and use it to play together on the xylophones. They also danced to a folk song with intricate movements and pair shifts.
