MS Musical Theater - The Little Mermaid Jr.
On Friday, February 23rd, Middle School Musical Theater presented The Little Mermaid Jr. to a completely full theater. Besides a crowd enthusiastic parents, many younger and older students also decided to spend their Friday evening at school and support their peers.
On Thursday morning, Musical Theater students had already premiered the show, performing for our Elementary students, which seemed to fill our young actors with even more energy for the big performance to come.
On the evening of the show, expectations were high. The fantastic musical show that followed certainly justified the excitement of the audience, with pitch perfect singing and expressive drama performances, receiving waves of applauses after each scene. Costume design and production and digital scenarios were also crucial to get the audience involved in the story, and for these we have to thank Ms. Jennifer Selberg (costumes) and Mr. Dulcínio's Digital Literacy class (scenario projections). Thank you also to our Fine Arts Department teachers, Mr. António, Ms. Riggins and Ms. Leslie, and to all High Schoolers that helped produce this show. Las, but not least, congratulations to all our young cast for their memorable performance.
