Rosemary Rigoletti (Davis), a former AISL teacher (1985-87), came to visit us with her husband, Jack, on October 2nd. When they decided to visit Portugal, Rosemary simply had to revisit "her" school. Back then, the campus was in Carnaxide, so she was amazed with the current CAISL facilities and programs, and admired the incredible growth. She also met with a few colleagues from those times and shared fun memories. One of the teachers she met had been her student back in the 4th grade!
Rosemary is now retired and happily living in the Washington State after teaching for 41 years.
Rosemary also shared news from her son, Seth, who studied at (C)AISL for his 7th and 8th grades. He is now living in Portland, Maine, he is married, has two children, and he is running his own business in Leadership Communication coaching. He looks back at his time at AISL with fondness, so much so that he became a teacher and taught English for 15 years, partly due to the influence of one special English teacher – Ms. Blannie Curtis, who has become since the CAISL's director.
