On April 19th, CAISL hosted a very special event: the National Honor Society Induction Ceremony, bringing senior and new members of this organization together. After enjoying dinner, it was time for the most anticipated moment of the evening: the induction of new members into the NHS. All new members exemplify the four pillars of this organization (Scholarship, Leadership, Character, and Service), not only through their actions in school, where besides their academic work, these students are involved in the arts, athletics and community service; but also for their commitment to activities outside of school, whether it is volunteering for a cause, being part of a sports team, or others. As new members were called, a senior member made a short speech about their qualities and how they relate to the purpose of the NHS, filling the room with proud smiles from parents, teachers and colleagues.
Congratulations to all the 2017 inductees!
