personal Counseling
CAISL has a team of qualified and experienced counselors that provide appropriate guidance services.
This team is made up of an Elementary Guidance Counselor and a Secondary Personal Counselor (both certified clinical psychologists).
Counseling is always available for students in need of behavioral, emotional and/or social support. The counselors work with students both in groups and individually.
Counselors aim to establish a close partnership with parents to develop helpful strategies. When needed, they are able to provide references of resources available in the local community.
Information you share about your child will be treated in confidence and only shared, if necessary, with those directly involved with his or her school welfare. At the same time as we ensure confidentiality of records and information about your child, we ask you to understand that we cannot discuss with you the behavior or academic progress of any student other than your own child.
CAISL’s Guidance program aims to help students, from Grades 1—12, develop strategies to make healthy choices related to their social and emotional health.
