Ages: Grade 4 and up

Description: Heriberto Rojas is a Venezuelan double Bass player, mandolin player and a composer. His performance engagements include jazz ensembles, contemporary music, traditional Venezuelan and Latin-American music, and cross-over styles. As a composer, Mr. Rojas has attended well-known festivals, and collaborated in many recording projects and musical productions. Mr. Rojas has been a faculty member of several workshops and schools, thus shared his knowledge and musical passion with younger generations. Mr. Rojas will be offering acoustic and electric bass, and jazz combo lessons at CAISL. 

Cost: Varies according to the length of the lesson: 30 minutes (25€), 45 minutes (35€), 1 hour (45€).

Miguel Vieira as been teaching piano for the last 20 years. He created is own method and teaches all ages and various styles from Classical to Pop. Also prepares, each year, students for the Trinity College piano Exames.

Charlotte Rylatt - Royal Academy of Music London - Prof.Cert.L.R.A.M.Hons

Charlotte has had an international career in singing and has sung in many major opera houses and concert halls. She has also been a member of the singing department with the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London.

Charlotte’s approach to singing is to help the student identify with all the factors of vocal technique for voice production; this involves, for example, the use of words (consonants), the use of the larynx, and breathing. The voice is a wonderful instrument to study, with an amazing variety of music to sing, with styles such as classical, musical theatre, jazz, and pop. Charlotte also makes sure the student has a lot of fun in learning about the voice and its repertoire.

Charlotte prepares students for the Trinity Guildhall London singing exams.
