United Nations Day
United Nations Day, observed globally on October 24th each year, marks the anniversary of the establishment of the United Nations in 1945. It's a day to reflect on the organization's mission to foster peace, cooperation, and development worldwide.
At CAISL, we see it as an opportunity to reflect about the importance of international cooperation and global citizenship.
To symbolize peace, students and staff wore white today. Secondary students had a special assembly to speak about the importance of the UN, a discussion led by some of our Model United Nations veteran students.
