On November 29th, CAISL's community gathered in the Theater to celebrate its importance in our school lives, and to name it honoring CAISL's former director, Ms. Blannie Curtis, who dedicated 25 years into building our school. This informal ceremony counted with several musical numbers, including our Orchestra, Middle School Choir and Grades 1 and 2 choir, making for a delightful concert. During the event, there was still time for speeches and a very special thank you to Dr. Beatrice Cameron, Educational Officer from the Department of State who is retiring this year, and was a big supporter of our school. Towards the end of the ceremony, Ms. Blannie Curtis was invited on stage to unveil the new theater name, under the warm applause of the audience. What a wonderful way to celebrate the community life that grew around our Theater.
