“The Play That. . .” Makes You Laugh!

Falling walls, actors who are knocked out, props that are not where they are supposed to be, dismantled mantels, jammed doors, an ever-present stage crew. . . these are just a few of the things that (pretend to) go wrong in the High School drama production – ‘The Play That Goes Wrong’. The murder mystery story turns into a hilarious sequence of miss happenings highlighted by expressions, pauses, matching characters, and fitting wardrobes, that our student actors completely dominated, whirling this play into an amazing (jam-packed with talent) show, that filled our theater for two nights in a row. "The play was amazing. What a brilliant performance!"; "I had not laughed so hard in a very long time. What a wonderful piece of comedy!"; "I had so much fun! Pure joy!" were some of the comments heard after the show. Congratulations to all those involved, this play was a huge success!
