At the end of November, MS and HS both had an Assembly to celebrate student success.
In the High school Assembly, the student council members shared the achievements and advancement of the student council and their ideas for the future. The High school HIT club showcased a thoughtful video with debates over the concept of artificial intelligence. Ecolution, NHS, and the Community Service also had representatives presenting the achievements of those clubs: the Ecolution worked on the promotion of protecting the environment; the NHS and the community service concluded what the students had contributed to our CAISL community and communities outside of CAISL. The IMUN officers, led by secretary-general Pedro L., introduced the highlights of the IMUN conference hosted at CAISL every November. Lastly, Judy Q’s video submitted to an ocean conservation competition was shown.
In Middle School, Student Council, Ecolution, and Community Service groups also shared their latest achievements. In addition, our 6th grade students explained the plight of the lost boys of Sudan through poetry, art, and creative writing.
At the end of both Assemblies, after hearing about individual success in sport and arts, we realized that there is a lot of achievement we didn’t know. On Thanksgiving, that became another reason to feel grateful.
Congratulations to the secondary students for all their achievements, and we look forward to seeing more of them in the future.
