Songs by Candlelight

The evening of Sunday, December 11th, marked a premier for CAISL. That night, our High School Choir, Advanced Orchestra and Adult Percussion Group gathered at the St. Paul's Cathedral in Lisbon for a very special concert: Songs by Candlelight. The environment was set for a warm winter night, with candles lighting the way of the public into the venue, and surrounding the performance space, creating the feel for the night. The concert included a wonderful performance of hand bells music by the CAISL Adult Group, beautifully played orchestra pieces, the moving voices of our choir and a touching violin and piano duet interpreted by Ms. Elena and Mr. Rode. During the show, there were also several singalong songs, that brought the crowd singing together and having great fun. What an inspiring way to get into the Holiday Season.
