Replanting Pinhal de Leiria with AMI Ecoética

In line with the activities of our four-year partnership, and following CAISL’s Ecolution Club contributions and the kind invitation from AMI Ecoética, on Friday, November 21st, a cold but beautiful and sunny autumn day, a team of CAISL Ecolution volunteers and two teachers traveled to central Portugal to replant one of the largest green areas destroyed by the fires of the past decade — Pinhal de Leiria.

As always, AMI Ecoética had everything impeccably prepared, and our task force planted no fewer than 392 trees in a single day(!). Smiles — accompanied by a deep sense of fulfillment — were all we could see by the time we arrived back in Sintra at the end of the afternoon.
