Plastic Pirates Field Work

Framed by the Plastic Pirates Go-Europe network, one more Ecology project adopted by CAISL Ecolution Club, 26 student-volunteers from ages 8 to 17 and 5 teachers went for a full morning to Ribeira de Colares, close to Praia da Maçãs, to engage in a set of data collection procedures and pure scientific work. The goal is to track the source of all plastic pollution around Europe and act accordingly in the future. The results and data collection follow to the Centros Ciência Viva Network and later to specific scientific labs that can do detailed analysis of all data collected. Everyone had a lot of fun.
