'Parlamento dos Jovens' - Intense Debate and Enriching Learning Opportunities

Our Middle School and High School students have devoted time and resources to prepare and perform at their best in the annual Parlamento dos Jovens sessions (https://jovens.parlamento.pt/).  Our weekly meetings have been moments of intense debate and enriching learning opportunities for everyone. This year, our representatives were truly inspiring: all of them fought for the democratic ideals of equality of opportunities and solidarity, while expressing a deep conviction that education is the road for a better future. Their enthusiasm was contagious, and their feedback extremely positive. They developed their Portuguese language skills and learned immensely about the Carnation Revolution and the Portuguese democratic history.
