Outdoor learning Activities with Grade 2

Cold, wind, mud and rain (well, if not too much…) are no challenge for our young G2 explorers! Providing our elementary students with sustained outdoor learning experiences continues to be one of CAISL goals for the years to come, and if not around Linhó and Sintra Mountain, the school gardens are also amazing places to explore biodiversity and sustainability in engaging and interesting ways. From identifying animal and plant species, playing “Nature´s Bingo”, or building an outdoor shelter out of ropes, blankets and sticks (our next project), many challenges will continue to bring our young children in contact with nature.
