News from the Middle School Ecolution Club - March

Currently, the Middle School Ecolution Club continues to support the compost@home initiative – they are preparing activities to promote this cause during small block, namely video presentations, quality information and a Kahoot. They will be creating three posters for this initiative to hang up around the atrium for more information about composting and gardening. There is also the intention of promoting a “reduce coffee capsule use” campaign, with participants and actions to take still TBD. Ecolution is also planning a beach cleanup with Oxigénio (from Camara Municipal de Cascais), or a reforestation project with Sintra municipality, having both entities being contacted and we await for an answer about their needs. Ecolution continues to work on studying garbage massing, in which the Ecolution club members of each grade weigh the garbage on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays of each week. They record the weight and post it at the end of the month in the atrium, so be ready for the numbers to be posted soon!
