MSA Program of Distinction

The Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) has awarded the prestigious “Program of Distinction” honor to both our music and visual arts programs. The Program of Distinction recognition from MSA goes beyond the standards of accreditation and challenges schools to ensure that their programs can “serve as models for schools throughout the world”. 

In August, Ms. Leslie, CAISL's Fine Arts Coordinator, led our music and visual arts staff on a comprehensive application process which included an examination of our vision, self-assessments against indicators of quality and strategizing for the future.  We then hosted subject-area experts from MSA during a three-day visit in January. The reports from this visit were submitted to the MSA commission for final approval which concluded earlier this April.
