On November 29th, our Middle School art classes, MS Art and MS Exploratory Art, went to the Gulbenkian Museum to see the "Art Meets Nature" exhibit. The students did drawings and looked closely at the art. They also did a special activity where they wrote poems or short stories inspired by the artworks. They thought about how the art changed their understanding of history and which pieces they would keep if they could. They even imagined where they would put them in their homes.
The students really enjoyed the trip, and everyone felt it was a great experience. It's nice to know that everyone found it interesting and learned something new!
