Matilde L.'s Journey: Embracing Change and Innovation

Last week, CAISL welcomed back 2016 alumna Matilde L., whose journey exemplifies the value of embracing change and staying open to new opportunities. After initially enrolling in university, she shifted paths, earning a Bachelor’s in Sports Sciences at Nottingham Trent University and a Master’s in Innovation Management at the University of Manchester. Matilde gained diverse experiences across athletics, pharmaceuticals, and start-ups, sparking her passion for innovation. Now considering a PhD, she advises students to "calm down" and explore life's possibilities with patience. Her visit was a reminder that growth often comes from stepping outside one’s comfort zone.
