Marble Mover Design Challenge

Marble Mover Design Challenge

As fifth-grade engineers, students explored the force of gravity and its constant pull toward Earth’s center. After investigating how gravity affects motion, they applied their knowledge to design and build creative ramps for a marble. The goal was to overcome the pull of gravity and guide the marble through specific points on a track.

Each Marble Mover design demonstrates an understanding of how angles, surfaces, and forces work together to influence motion. Students showcased their creativity and problem-solving skills as they tested, refined, and perfected their designs. This project highlights their ability to think like engineers while applying key concepts in science to real-world challenges.
