Interview with Astronaut Heide Stefanyshyn-Piper

Last Friday, October 14th, students gathered in the Theater or online from their classroom to hear from former US Navy Captain and Astronaut Heide Stefanyshyn-Piper. Connecting from her home in the the US, Captain Stefanyshyn-Piper presented her story to students, featuring many pictures and videos of her time in space. After the presentations, it was the students' turn to interview our guest, placing questions that were prepared in advance of this call. At the end of this meeting, all students could say they knew much more about the what astronauts do and how it is to live in a space station.
