On a chilly mid-December winter night, the inviting doors of St. Paul's Cathedral welcomed everyone to CAISL's Carols by Candlelight concert. Despite the cold, the warmth of hundreds of flickering candles created a cozy ambiance, setting the perfect stage for the upcoming musical performances.
The event kicked off with the harmonious voices of CAISL's choir, who, together with the audience, joyfully presented "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." Following this, the Adult Percussion Group enchanted the audience with impeccably synchronized bell melodies, including the timeless classic "My Favorite Things."
Our Orchestra and Choir teachers, Ms. Elena and Mr. Rode, took the spotlight, delivering a heartfelt rendition of "Mary, Did You Know?" The audience stood in complete silence, appreciating the beauty of this musical moment.
The remainder of the evening featured enchanting string melodies and captivating singing, culminating in a heartwarming sing-along. After the concert, musicians, parents, and friends gathered to share cookies and hot beverages, embracing the festive spirit of the season.
A special thank you goes to St. Paul's Cathedral for graciously hosting us once again, and heartfelt gratitude to our music teachers for orchestrating this beautiful concert.
