October 31st, was the most haunted day at CAISL, with little witches, monsters and ghosts coming into the classrooms…ready to enjoy a day of Halloween fun! Celebrations started with our preschoolers performing a themed song and parading their costumes across the stage. They then went trick or treating around school, and had a blast collecting candy from staff members, who were delighted to see our students’ costumes up close. Then it was Grades 1-5 turn to receive their Halloween treat: all classes went to the theater to watch Middle and High School Orchestras, a spooky fun performance of “Monster Mash” with the Varsity Choir, Mr. Rode and Mr. António, and the CAISL Adult Percussion performing on marimbas. In the afternoon, Grades 1 and 2 and Grades 3 through 5 performed on stage and closed the day with a scary, yet talented, bang. Watha a Great Halloween!
