Great Music Waves at the Spring Showcase

Great Music Waves at the Spring Showcase

On Friday, April 28th, our Grades 1 through 4 presented their Spring Showcase. The Theater was completely full, with families anxiously awaiting the performance to come, and they were not disappointed by this amazing show.

The CAISL Adult and High School percussion group opened the show with a mesmerizing act of drumming.

Grades 3 and 4 followed and displayed focus and rhythm with Taiko drumming performances that included complex choreographies and even some solos.

Grades 1 and 2 presented the musical story “Go Fish”, telling the story of a tiger shark who wanted to be friends with all creatures of the ocean. The young actors and singers delivered an astonishing performance that had the public laughing and applauding enthusiastically.

During the show, families in the audience could also see the beautiful water themed works created by the students in Art, that were the perfect set to the performances.

To close the show, Grades 1 through 4 joined their voices and sang “How Far I’ll Go”, receiving a well-deserved standing ovation. Congratulations to our Grades 1 through 4 students, and a special thank you to Ms. Leslie and Ms. Dawn for their work with our children.
