Grade 5 and the Ecolution Club's Field Trip to Sintra Forest

This Wednesday, February 5th, the Elementary Ecolution Club together with all the grade 5 students went to the Sintra forest to work on the CAISL plot. We continued our work to remove an invasive and exotic species called “acácia” and we planted a total of 53 different species of Portuguese trees and bushes, such as, cork trees. 

It was a lot of work, but we had a lot of fun!
