🌿 Grade 3 & Ecolution Club Take Action in Sintra Forest! 🌱

Last Thursday, October 23rd, the Elementary Ecolution Club, together with all Grade 3 students, spent the day in the beautiful Sintra forest taking purposeful action for our environment. Students worked on the CAISL plot, continuing the important mission of removing an invasive plant species called acácia.

Acácias grow quickly and make it difficult for native plants to survive — but our students were ready for the challenge! With teamwork, determination, and plenty of enthusiasm, they pulled, cut, and cleared as much as they could.

It was definitely hard work… but also a lot of fun! Students spent the day outdoors learning about biodiversity, environmental responsibility, and the positive impact we can make when we work together.

A huge thank you to the teachers and volunteers who supported this meaningful experience. We’re proud of our Grade 3 students and Ecolution Club for making a real difference in our local ecosystem!

We can’t wait to return to the Sintra forest and continue this important project! 🌍💚
