Fruta Feia Comes to School

On January 21st Middle School had the virtual visit of Mr. Artur, a representative of Fruta Feia, an initiative focused on reducing food waste. Mr. Artur brought to light how fruit and vegetables can go to waste due to size and aesthetic reasons and how associations like Fruta Feia are a solution for this problem. The presentation was preceded by an introduction, some discussion and also a game. After the presentation, Sr. Artur was also open to questions and students seemed deeply engaged, embracing this cause.
