Eighth Graders Explore the World of Journalism at the News Museum

On October 8, 2024, around 30 eighth-grade students visited the "News Museum" in Sintra with the goal of exploring and better understanding the world of news and its impact on people's lives, after studying journalistic texts in their Portuguese class.

During the visit, they had the opportunity to explore various interactive and educational rooms, including one where students simulated being live on air, reading a news report from a teleprompter.

The students also visited rooms focused on different types of journalism: war journalism, propaganda, and, their favorite, sports journalism.

The students found the visit very interesting!
