Earth Day

Earth Day

To celebrate Earth Day the Elementary Ecolution Club invited 1st and 2nd graders to make flower bombs. We started the activity by reading the story “The Giving Tree”. Then our Ecolution members explained how to make flower bombs and how they can be used in places with low biodiversity or empty soil. It was a very fun activity! Our Middle School atrium and the Library also participated on this worldwide celebration by having a full-day projection related to the theme “The Oceans are our Earth”. Six “Try this for an even better future” posters at the snack-bar entrance would also invite the school community into a deeper reflection about the topic. Happy Earth Day!
