Interlochen Arts Camp is one of America's most prestigious summer programs for aspiring artists. Among its list of alumni are Josh Groban and Norah Jones. Each year thousands of students apply to work with professors from some of America's greatest conservatories. This year Fiona N., 11th grade has been accepted to study voice!
The Association for Music in International Schools (AMIS) hosts its Solo & Ensemble festival annually. Students from member schools worldwide submit performances that are then reviewed and scored by qualified judges. This year over 900 students entered in total, and 5 students were selected as finalists in each instrument. We are excited to announce that Ai S., 10th grade, has been selected as a finalist for Female Voice and Afonso V., 10th grade, has been selected as a finalist for Male Voice. These students will have their performances included in the AMIS Online International Finalists Solo Showcase where judges will select the recipients of the 500 scholarship!
