Celebrating the Retirement of Four Cherished CAISL Community Members

Celebrating the Retirement of Four Cherished CAISL Community Members

As the school year came to a close, CAISL held a heartfelt ceremony to honor the retirement of four beloved members of our school community:

  • Katie Morris, Elementary Principal

  • Lourdes Fernandes, Assistant to the Director

  • Mary Ruiz, 3rd Grade Teacher

  • Peter Andrews, IMUN Coordinator, High School Social Studies Teacher, and HS Student Council Sponsor

Each of these individuals has made a lasting impact at CAISL—some for over 20 years, and others for more than 30. Their dedication, warmth, and leadership have shaped the school and touched the lives of countless students and colleagues.

As part of the celebration, each retiree received a special memory book filled with messages from students and staff—capturing moments, memories, and appreciation for their years of service. The event was filled with gratitude and emotion, as we reflected on their legacy and wished them well in their next chapter.

We are truly thankful to Katie, Lourdes, Mary, and Peter for their extraordinary contributions to CAISL. They leave behind a legacy that will be remembered for years to come.
