Celebrating Hispanic Heritage: A Vibrant Exploration of Culture and Community

From September 15th to October 15th, our international school celebrated Hispanic Heritage, honoring the diverse cultures of students from Spain and Spanish-speaking countries in South America. Activities included exploring the art of Jaime Dominguez, creating a collaborative school-wide art piece, and introducing traditional rhythms in music classes. The library hosted readings by Hispanic authors, book tastings, and a festive book-themed fiesta. We engaged younger students with Hispanic-themed books and organized a trivia contest, complete with a Kahoot game and tasty Hispanic treats. Together, we celebrated and honored the rich cultural legacy of Hispanic Heritage.
