CAISL Welcome Back BBQ Brings Community Together for a Fun-Filled Day

Last Saturday, CAISL hosted a memorable Welcome BBQ, bringing together more than 500 attendees, including students, families, alumni, and staff. The event provided a wonderful opportunity for new families to get familiar with the school and experience the warm, community atmosphere that defines CAISL.

The weather was perfect, allowing everyone to fully enjoy the day’s activities. A wide variety of games encouraged creativity and collaboration among students and families. Additionally, a bake sale was held to support the Liga dos Bombeiros Portugueses, giving families a chance to contribute to a meaningful cause. The Knit Club, a dedicated group of moms, also contributed by creating and selling beautiful handcrafted pieces in support of premature babies.

Another enjoyable moment during the day was the chili contest, where participants showcased their best recipes, adding a fun, competitive spirit to the event. The entire area was thoughtfully decorated with a fall theme, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere. Music and dancing added to the lively mood, making the day truly special.

Earlier in the day, the Wolf Cup volleyball tournament brought staff, families, and alumni together for some friendly and energetic competition.
