CAISL Students Volunteer in Ongoing Housing Project
Last week, ten Grade 11 students from CAISL’s Community Service Club (CSC), along with two teachers, volunteered at a construction site as part of their CAS Service experience.
This project, which CAISL students have supported for several years, is building six family units to house four refugee families from Cameroon, Congo, and Syria, as well as two Portuguese families. Our students continued the construction work started by previous CSC and CAS groups, seeing firsthand the progress made over time.
Through their work, students contributed to a meaningful cause while developing teamwork and problem-solving skills. CAISL remains committed to service learning and making a positive impact in the community.
