CAISL Debate Society Explores Careers in International Relations and Humanitarian Action

On December 17th, CAISL’s Debate Society welcomed to Mr. Thom G., Armed Forces Special Advisor and current Regional Delegate for the United States and Canada at the International Committee of the Red Cross.

During an interactive Q&A session, Mr. Thom shared insights into his career in international relations and humanitarian intervention. Students had the opportunity to ask thoughtful questions about working in conflict zones, the role of diplomacy, and the skills needed to pursue a career in global humanitarian work. 

The session offered valuable real-world perspectives and inspired students interested in making a meaningful impact on the international stage.
