CAISL Celebrates the Month of the Military Child
In April, CAISL proudly celebrated the Month of the Military Child. Military parents, along with single service members, visited campus to read to our elementary students. During library classes, students were interviewed about their experiences as military children, giving them a chance to share their unique perspectives.
Our secondary students also took part by sharing their stories with classmates during morning announcements.
The celebration culminated on Wednesday, April 30, when students wore purple and joined in a fun “Hats Off” spirit day by wearing their favorite hats. Everyone enjoyed a special ice cream treat at lunch to mark the occasion.
