CAISL was the host to this year’s ‘RoboMed’, a robotics competition using LEGO® programmable robots organized by MAIS (Mediterranean Association of International Schools). Seventeen teams belonging to ten international schools from over five countries, including the Techno-Wolves from CAISL, participated in five challenges: sumo wrestling, speed racing, line follow race, obstacle race and tug-of-war. The competition included time to adjust and redesign your robot after testing, so these were a couple of days packed with emotion and learning amongst skilled enthusiasts. It was inspiring to see the creativity and ingenuity each team brought to the competition and the overall amazing robot productions. Even though we were not the overall winners, our teams (Techno-Wolves 1 and 2) did extremely well and proved hard to beat in a couple of challenges. Well done Techno-Wolves; you made us all proud!
