CAISL Alumnus Lucas Nacif ('16) Embarks on Barrister Career in the UK

Last week, CAISL warmly welcomed back Lucas Nacif, Class of 2016, who visited during a brief stay in Lisbon. His visit was filled with fond memories and reflections on his journey since graduation. Lucas earned his law degree from King’s College London in 2019 and completed a Master of Laws at the University of Cambridge in 2020. He has since gained valuable experience working as a lawyer in a boutique litigation firm in London, specializing in employment disputes. Later this month, Lucas will begin a new chapter by joining the independent Bar to practice employment and commercial law across various courts and tribunals in England & Wales. Becoming a self-employed barrister has been his long-term goal, and he described it as both surreal and rewarding to see it finally come to fruition. We’re inspired by Lucas’s achievements and proud of the strong connection he maintains with CAISL. We look forward to following his future successes.
