CAISL Alumna Returns with a Mission to Advance Neuroscience

We were thrilled to welcome Diana M., a proud member of CAISL’s Class of 2020, back to campus for a recent visit. Diana earned her bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Science from King’s College London and is now pursuing her master’s degree in Clinical Neuroscience at University College London (UCL). Her academic journey and professional aspirations are both inspiring and deeply meaningful.

During her time at CAISL, Diana was known for her curiosity, resilience, and thoughtful engagement with the world around her. Today, those same qualities are guiding her in a field that holds immense promise: research and development in mental health. Her goal is to contribute to advancing scientific understanding and treatment options for neurodegenerative conditions—an area of growing importance in global health.

It was a pleasure for staff and faculty members to reconnect with her, hear about her journey, and see firsthand the impact of a CAISL education in action.

Thank you, Diana, for visiting and for continuing to inspire the next generation of students. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for you—and the difference you’ll make in the world of science and beyond
