On the evening of December 14th, students and parents eagerly returned to school for the highly anticipated Grades 3-5 Winter Showcase.
The Grade 5 Orchestra students took the stage first. Remarkably, after just a few months of learning their instruments, they played two holiday tunes together in perfect harmony.
Following suit, Grade 3 students marched down the theater aisles, playing a Nutcracker theme on boom whackers. They then joined Grade 4 on stage to perform beautiful seasonal songs. Our Marimba Band added to the festive atmosphere by playing bells, contributing to a delightful winter holiday ambiance.
As the children sang, the set for each song was adorned with beautiful winter artwork created by students in the Art class.
To bring the concert to a close, Grades 3, 4, and 5 joined forces to sing "Here We Come A-Caroling," a performance so brilliant that it earned an encore.
