Alumna Eliza Inspires Biology Students at CAISL

Our alumna Eliza returned to share her journey at iGEM (International Genetically Engineered Machine), an international bioremediation competition where she represents Utrecht University.

Grade 9–12 Biology students got hands-on experience modeling how plasmids can be activated in bacteria as a powerful tool for bioremediation.

Eliza also impressed us with projects in synthetic biology and organoids—including nervous system organoids that can outperform AI while using less energy.

A big thank you to Eliza for inspiring our students with her knowledge, passion, and creativity!
