This year’s Middle School Musical Theater production brought a special kind of magic to the CAISL stage with a heartwarming performance of Beauty and the Beast. Under the guidance of Mr. António for acting and Mr. Touchton for vocal training, the students transformed months of dedication into a show full of energy, emotion, and unforgettable moments.
Adding an extra layer of enchantment, this was the first time in CAISL history that a musical featured live music performed in the orchestra pit. The rich, live soundtrack elevated every scene and gave the production a professional feel that wowed the audience.
The magic extended beyond the stage, with CAISL parents generously supporting the show by crafting costumes and building the set. Their behind-the-scenes creativity helped bring the fairy tale world to life.
With a full house for both performances and warm applause after every number, the production was a shining moment for our middle school. From the opening act to the final curtain, the cast, crew, and musicians gave their all—and it showed.
