A different scavenger Hunt
Today was a day for a very different scavenger hunt with our Grade 2 students! Merging PE skills, Social studies, Geography and map-reading techniques, plus Outdoor Learning practices, students got immersed in the life of some of the institutions and people of Linhó. We visited the old party-place of the community, walked through the almost enchanted gardens of the convent, passed the elderly home, walked many of the back streets, and met one of the oldest bicycle stores in Portugal, just before coming back to CAISL. It was clear by the end of the morning that Linhó feels a bit more like home and map reading-skills are improving by the day. More fun to come soon!
